Zion Lutheran Church & School is supporting the North American Missionary to Ferguson, MO. Rev. Micah Glenn is a LCMS pastor who has recently been placed at the Lutheran Hope Center in Ferguson, MO. Rev. Glenn grew up in Ferguson and his family still resides in the area. The Lutheran Hope Center will be working in multiethnic ministry — reaching into the heart of our cities, having a pivotal role in racial reconciliation in America, working with at-risk youth, and reaching out to the neighborhood. For our Mission of the Month, please pray for Rev. Glenn as he begins this ministry. Please consider a financial gift toward the Lutheran Hope Center. We will be in contact with Rev. Glenn to see if there might be an opportunity in the future to travel to Ferguson and join with them in a ministry project.

Positive Impact: You may not make a hole like a meteor does when it strikes the earth. You may not give a speech that people will be quoting for years to come. You may not perform some great feat that makes the TV evening news. But you can make an impact by answering God’s call to serve. Our Stephen Ministers have an impact on people’s lives at times when they really need someone to care. A new training class will begin soon. To find out how you can make an impact through Stephen Ministry, contact Kevin Knippenberg, Lynda Utt, or Gloria Means today.
