MISSION OF THE MONTH: The June Mission of the Month is 2016 Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod convention National offering. Every three years, our Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod gathers in convention to determine mission and ministry priorities for the coming three years. This year, we will gather in Milwaukee under the theme “Upon This Rock.” As part of the run-up to the triennial convention, LCMS households, congregations and organizations are invited and encouraged to participate in a synod-wide gathering of special gifts called the National Offering. This triennium’s National Offering gives Lutherans across the country an opportunity through a special offering that will give the same bold confession as Peter: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Gifts to the 2016 LCMS National Offering will empower the work God has given us to do in His name through programs and projects where we Witness, show Mercy and walk with one another as Christians in our Life Together.

ORDINATION OF LOGAN LANDES: Sunday, June 26, 2016 4pm at Zion Lutheran Church & School. Please plan to join us for the ordination of Logan Landes! Those attending the dinner after Logan’s ordination are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Concordia Seminary food pantry in honor of Logan and Lydia Landes. Thank you!

ADULT BIBLE STUDY: Continuing this Sunday morning, 9:20am in conference room A, Brady Gurganious will lead a discussion on Lutheran Child and Family Services and their ministry to girls coming out of the sex trade.

THANK YOU! Thank you for all your support for the Pancake breakfast for my Eagle Project for Dani’s Dream. This was my first fundraiser and I put a big dent in what I need to raise. Thank you again and I appreciate it. ~Zach Mitchell

After the 30th of June, you may continue to bring donations of any kind and they will be delivered to the Hancock County Hope House Thrift Store in Greenfield.
