MISSION OF THE MONTH: DISASTER RELIEF- Unfortunately, there are too many opportunities for Zion to help out with disaster related needs in Indiana and in Louisiana. We are looking to partner with Trinity Lutheran Church in Baton Rouge, LA to help out with the flooding that has taken place there. Over 100,000 homes have been affected by the flood waters! Trinity Lutheran in Baton Rouge is working with Camp Restore and Lutheran Church Charities to reach out to the community with the love of Christ. In the near future, Zion Lutheran will take a team down to help out with disaster relief in Baton Rouge, LA. More information will be coming soon. If you would like to go, please contact Pastor Jason at 771-1691. If you choose to give a gift toward disaster relief, the money will go towards helping those in Baton Rouge. If we can determine a way to help in Kokomo, IN we will do that as well.
