Pre-School 3's

Preparing your child for Kindergarten & Beyond.

We believe children learn best through purposeful play and therefore most of our learning is through play, games, and hands-on activities. Everything we do is with purpose. Our teaching includes skills for math, literacy, handwriting, music, and fine motor development.

Our pre-school 3's are for children that have turned 3 by August 1 and we offer both 1/2 day and full-day classes.

Our staff is ready to show you what we offer at Zion Lutheran. Contact us today to learn more about our programs and academic offerings.

Pre-Kindergarten

We offer both half-day and full day programs.

Pre-K students can choose from half-day or full day programs that provide enhanced child learning opportunities preparing them for Kindergarten. Our environment allows your child to be involved in a variety of learning as they grow socially, emotionally, physically, creatively, and spiritually.

Pre-Kindergarten classes are offered for children that have turned 4 by August 1.

Kindergarten

We offer full day programs.

Our Kindergarten program provides a strong foundation for your child’s educational journey within a safe, nurturing, and intellectually stimulating, Christ-centered environment. Through developmentally appropriate instruction, our teachers support academic growth while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Our staff works together to foster a caring classroom community that also nurtures each child’s growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Kindergarten classes are offered for children that have turned 5 by August 1.

Grade School

Grades 1st - 5th in small class sizes adapted to modern learning.

Students in grades 1–5 at Zion Lutheran School grow academically, spiritually, and emotionally in a Christ-centered elementary program. Each day begins with prayer and community time, setting a strong foundation for learning and relationships. Through hands-on activities, whole-group teaching, and small-group instruction, students receive personalized support while building independence and collaboration skills. As they progress, students are prepared for a smooth transition to middle school. Zion currently offers two first-grade and two second-grade classrooms, with plans to add a second third-grade classroom in the 2026–2027 school year, allowing for small, nurturing learning communities.

Middle School

Grades 6th - 8th in an dynamic class enviroment.

Students in grades 6–8 at Zion Lutheran School thrive in a Christ-centered middle school program that nurtures academic, spiritual, and emotional growth. Each day begins with prayer and community time as students develop greater independence, responsibility, and confidence through engaging instruction. Leadership opportunities, fine arts, athletics, and extracurricular activities allow students to share their gifts, serve others, and prepare for the next stage of their academic and faith journey.

7th & 8th Grade

We offer all students the opportunity to be confirmed in the Lutheran faith with our regular instructional classes. Students learn scripture, lutheran teachings, and more.

School Performance Information

We know students are more than test scores. Feedback from educators, families, and employers highlights essential skills for lifelong success. Whether students go to college, a job, or military service, we prepare them for the future. Our mission is to empower everyone with the Indiana GPS dashboard, showing how students develop key knowledge and skills in all grades and schools.
